The Causes Of Tinnitus Stop Your Ears From Ringing

October 3rd, 2010 No comments

Tinnitus is a main reason why people experience ringing in there ears and the good news is that there are treatments out there to help.  In order to figure out what the best treatment for tinnitus is first we need to figure out what is causing the ringing in your ears in the first place.  Through this article I will go through the three main reasons that lead to Tinnitus.

A Simple Ear Infection Can Lead To Tinnitus – One of the first things that I tell anyone who is experiencing ringing in their ears is to seek out a doctor immediately to see if there is an infection that is causing the Tinnitus.  If there is an infection present the doctor can prescribe an antibiotic to get rid of the infection and hopefully stop your ears from ringing.  Remember to take your antibiotic for the entire time that it is prescribed for the last thing you want is the infection to roar back to life.

Tinnitus Can Be Caused By Loud Noises – Well your parents told you to turn down your music for a good reason as loud noises can lead to Tinnitus.  Doctors believe that the strong vibration from loud noises over a good period of time can cause microscopic nerve damage which cause Tinnitus.  If your ears are ringing from a loud concert than chances are it will clear up in a matter of days but if your worked in a loud factory for a number of years chances are Tinnitus is the result.

Meniere’s Disease Can Cause Tinnitus – Meniere’s disease is a rare disorder that creates problems with balance, vertigo and Tinnitus.  Meniere’s disease is believed to be caused by an increase of pressure in the ears which leads to an increase of fluid buildup.  When it comes to treatments for Tinnitus that are tied to Meniere’s disease it all depends on how early it is caught which is another great reason to start your Tinnitus treatment quest at the doctors office.  If Meniere’s Disease is allowed to progress it can cause permanent hearing damage in your ears.

Thankfully with the research done on Tinnitus over the last decade there are now a number of treatments for tinnitus that have proven to be effective.  Whether it be by the use of antibiotics and maskers to tinnitus retraining therapy to natural products which have caught the medical world off guard due to their success there is a way now to stop the ringing in your ears.

Travel Tips For Sufferers From Vertigo by Christian Goodman

March 19th, 2010 No comments

I mostly travel a lot by air for both mu personal and professional duties. While traveling I have met very interesting and experienced persons. On the base of my profession and my natural ability to communicate with others has led to many interesting topics.

Somehow Vertigo comes as a common topic for discussion. Most of the people say that while travel by both air and car causes them vertigo or it makes the vertigo condition worse.

One should understand vertigo is not a disease but a symptom. Do you want to know about vertigo? When a person has vertigo he suffers from the symptoms like spinning that occurs due to the disturbance of balance. There is no concrete reason for the cause of vertigo, it has variety of reasons.

Vertigo’s symptoms can include dizziness but not everyone with dizziness (lightheadedness) has vertigo. Vertigo is most often caused from a disorder in the peripheral vestibular system (inner ear structures). It can also be a result of a disorder in the central vestibular system (brainstem, cerebellum, vestibular nerve).

Due to Alfred Hitchcock classic most of the people confuse things between vertigo and fear of heights but both are different. This may due to the reason that symptom between both these conditions are bit common. An interesting fact many people who has the fear for height do not fear flying.

Vertigo problem happens suddenly and will last for less than a minute. Movements in head made suddenly are the major cause. BPPV is the most common type of vertigo but there different types vertigo.

Symptoms can include: nystagmus (shaking of the eye), nausea, vomiting and sweating. The attacks can stop or improve after a few weeks or months. However in some cases, they can persist for longer. Your doctor can correctly diagnose you and recommend special head and neck exercises to help prevent the onset of vertigo.

Many people who have this problem have the problem only in the position of their head while traveling. And this can bring in the symptoms for the sufferers.

Alcohol can induce temporary vertigo and should therefore be avoided if flying and especially if driving.

If a person is having this kind of vertigo then traveling can make this symptom worse. Anxiety or panic disorder can cause psychological disorder and in turn causes psychogenic vertigo. However, psychogenic vertigo is not common.

Motion sickness is also suffered by most travelers. The parts of inner that control balance can be affected by motion of travel. Traveling in boat mostly causes this but it can also caused by tarveling in auto and plane.

The outburst of symptom is quick as vertigo. The symptoms include nausea, dizziness, headache, cold sweats, hyperventilation (which could lead to faintness) and usually vomiting.

Motion sickness can be prevented by the following keeping your gaze steady and head as still as possible, not smoking, not drinking, not reading, and getting fresh air.

Motion sickness can be treated by many number of drugs. But those drugs will cause drowsiness and it will cause agitation in children

Alternatively one can try my all natural vertigo and dizziness program. It is highly recommended. It comes with proven results and zero side effects. It gives cure to all people who suffer from vertigo and dizziness. The best thing is it is drug free.

I’m Trying To Find A Gift For A Friend That Suffers From Vertigo; What Would Be A Good Gift?

February 26th, 2010 No comments

I was thinking about giving a gift from Yankee Candle but I was afraid that a person suffering from vertigo would maybe loose balance and knock over a candle and obviously that wouldn’t be good. So I am trying to find a suitable gift and something that would be useful as well as thoughtful.
