Have had 4 episodes in the past 5 months. No pain, though I do have some visual disturbance, also nausea and occasionally vomiting.Need to lie down and episode passes after about 2-4 hours. Specialist suggested it was a form of migraine and I did have quite severe migraines when I was younger. Anyone heard of research on this?

I would be very grateful to hear anything you’d wish to share; it’s a valid diagnosis and a debilitating condition that blows right past the pharmaceutical shills posing as doctors in my area. Thank you.

My friend has had it for 16 years now, and the doctors say they don’t know what it is. I just thought that if i put it out there on the net, that someone out there might have the same thing.
To explain it more, its like Vertigo but its not Vertigo. Its caused by a mixture of the two fluid sacks at the bottom of the brain that effects your balance.
I was just interested to know if anyone out there has the same thing, knows anyone with it, or has anymore information on it. Thanks
If so, what did you do to relieve it? I’m a 47 year old female and I get inner ear/vertigo so bad! I’ve been to all kinds of doctors for this probelm and nothing helps. Is there anyone else out there that goes through this? Is it my hormones that is causing it? Would a Hysterectomy cure it? It’s so severe I have to sleep sitting straight up in the bed. It just feels like the room is spinning! Can anyone relate? Thanks for any input!
